In the beginning early man had to fend for themselves individually and the tigers usually won. Tired of being Tiger bait they figured out things would go better when they banded together.
In doing so they discovered some of them were far better at some things than the rest. With specialization they learned they all could have better lives with leverage.
In this they learned that the Village was their best chance at survival, and that their fellow villagers as a whole were more important than them by themselves.
Likewise after a time they discovered how to navigate water, and they discovered they could do some things easier on the water than on the land, and with bigger boats, they could even do more.
They understood the one thing they could not do without on the water was the boat, “the most important thing.”
Next they figured out the second most important was the crew.
Today we live in a land of abstraction-disconnect: We have no idea where the food we put into our mouths was created, processed, and packaged. We have no idea what it took make the clothes we wear on our backs.
Today we live in the mind of ME. We think the three most important things in the world is ME, Myself, and I.
Those who have learned the lessons of history go farther and have the most success. For the most part, they have learned about the power of leverage of ‘We,’ and how by giving up more, ‘We’ get more.
We are tribal people and the more we practice and remember this, the more success we will experience.
